Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano are set to face off for a third time tomorrow night.
Taylor has won both previous fights against Serrano, with the Puerto Rican now looking for long-awaited revenge.
The Irishwoman has spoken out about the complaints from Team Serrano at a press conference in New York ahead of Friday’s bout at Madison Square Garden, live on Netflix.
“The fact is that I am 2-0 against her,” the 39-year-old said.
“Opinions are opinions, but facts are facts, and you can’t get away from those facts.
And, yeah, I guess I’m just sick of the complaining and whining from her team.”

The Taylor-Serrano rivalry has become one of the defining rivalries in women’s boxing.
Their first bout in 2022 was an instant classic, drawing a sold-out crowd at Madison Square Garden and earning Fight of the Year honours. It was also a landmark event, as the pair became the first female fighters to headline at the iconic venue.
Serrano and her team raised concerns about Taylor’s use of the head immediately after their second encounter.

The Bray native was in control of much of the second fight until she was cut on the eye in the fourth round following a head clash.
Her coach, Jordan Maldonado, spoke out in the ring, accusing Taylor of “dirty” tactics.
“She’s so dirty. She leads with her head, a lot of her opponents have been cut and headbutted. Her best attribute.”
Serrano now bids to finally get her win over Taylor after two failed attempts.

The atmosphere in New York is expected to be electric once again, with fans from both Ireland and Puerto Rico turning out in force.
Taylor wasn’t interested in her opposition’s complaints, instead focusing on the moment ahead.
“I’m going into this fight unbeaten against Amanda Serrano, and I plan to stay unbeaten against her.”
If Taylor wins a third time, she will likely cement her legacy as the greatest female boxer of this generation.
For Serrano, a win would make her the undisputed super-lightweight champion and a seven-weight world champion—an extraordinary feat.
