As we look towards the entertainment approaching us, the Floyd Mayweather Jr and Conor McGregor fight will always be a talking point, even before the two enter the ring.

Many believe the fight to be irrelevant and many believe it to be a show of entertainment…personally, it is a bit of both.

With McGregor stepping into the squared circle for the first time in his career and strapping on the gloves, Mayweather is the favourite to overcome the Irishman and add to his undefeated record which currently reads at 49 – 0.

McGregor though is no easy opponent, even if this is not his playground. The Irishman has power and speed which could cause a speculative ‘rusty’ Mayweather problems.

The fight could possibly be Mayweather’s last; to be undefeated in 50-0 and to retire would be a great feat but if the money comes in, who knows, as there is already talk of Manny Pacquaio wanting a rematch with Mayweather.

Many believe Mayweather to be untouchable and though the footage is in his younger days, Mayweather has had his fair share of hits to him…probably why his defence now is so good.

This video, thanks to youtube.com and Fight Echo, shows the 5 times that Mayweather felt glove to face…take note McGregor!

Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Conor McGregor will take place on Saturday 26th August 2017, in Las Vegas, USA.
