It’s billed as ‘The Last Dance’ at the Co-Op Live in Manchester this Saturday, and one would hope it is just that, as Derek Chisora takes to the ring in a heavyweight ten rounder against Sweden’s Otto Wallin.
TNT Sports televise Chisora vs Wallin live in the UK, while DAZN broadcast the bout worldwide.
To say Chisora (35-13, 23 KOs) is battle-hardened is an understatement. A former British, Commonwealth and European champion, he has had a career full of ups and downs.
Despite spirited displays in losses on the cards to Oleksandr Usyk in 2020, and twice to Joseph Parker in 2021, there have been calls for ‘War’ to retire long before now, but he manages to rebuild every time and is looking to bow out after 50 professional fights.
The 41-year-old rebounded from those three straight losses with a rematch points win against Kubrat Pulev in 2022, and that lead to a second world title shot, in a trilogy match that no one really called for against WBC champion, Tyson Fury.

’The Gypsy King’ scored a third straight win, this one a tenth round stoppage in Tottenham.
Again Chisora kept coming, taking a points win against Gerald Washington, and he was last seen in July 2024, upsetting Joe Joyce, dropping the Putney man on route to a points win.
His alleged last stand is against New York-based Swede Wallin (27-2, 15 KOs), who has only lost at elite level.

The 34-year-old southpaw was very competitive before going down on points to Tyson Fury in 2019, in a contest where the Brit needed nearly 50 stitches to heal a horror cut, and he returned with six straight wins against the likes of Dominic Breazeale and Murat Gassiev.
Wallin came unstuck at the end of 2023, when he retired after five rounds of Anthony Joshua dominance in Saudi Arabia, and he has only been out once since, a one round blowout win against Onoriode Ehwarieme in July last year.
Prediction: Chisora is as tough as they come, and he should be good enough for a farewell win here. He’ll put the heat on Wallin, and it should be enough to see his hand raised on the scorecards after ten gruelling rounds.
Rafferty meets MacMillan
Jack Rafferty defends his British and Commonwealth super lightweight titles, and looks to add the vacant WBC International strap against Reece MacMillan.
Rafferty (24-0, 15 KOs) was superb in taking the vacant British title against Henry Turner in his last outing, forcing Turner to retire after nine rounds.

MacMillan (17-1, 2 KOs) has only completed ten rounds once, which was in his last bout, a win by a single point to take the vacant Central Area crown against Kane Gardner last November.
Prediction: Rafferty has impressed of late, and he can remain unbeaten here with a clear points victory.
Abdulah faces Miller
Masood Abdulah (11-0, 7 KOs) makes the first defence of his Commonwealth featherweight title that he won against George Stewart last time out, and can take a handy points win over Zak Miller (15-1, 3 KOs), who took Nathaniel Collins to a majority decision in his only professional loss in November 2023.
Heaney returns
In the remaining ten rounders, former British middleweight champion, Nathan Heaney (18-1-1, 6 KOs) can return after his absorbing last round loss to Brad Pauls by stopping Sofiane Khati (17-5, 6 KOs).

Remaining Undercard
Albania’s Nelson Hysa (19-0, 17 KOs) can make a successful first defence of his WBO European title with an inside schedule win against unbeaten Macedonian challenger, Todorche Cvetkov (12-0, 9 KOs).
Four round contests complete the card.
Walter Fury (2-0) can take another points win, this time against Joe Hardy (3-27) at super welterweight and super featherweight prospect, Jermaine Dhliwayo (4-0, 1 KO) can also win on points against Mark Butler (3-15, 1 KO).
At middleweight, Joe Cooper (2-0) should be a points winner against Artjom Spatar (4-11-1, 1 KO) and at heavyweight, Lewis Williams (1-0, 1 KO) can win early against Cristian Uwaka (1-4, 1 KO).
