After a false start the first time around, BOXXER make their entrance on terrestrial TV in the UK this Saturday, as Frazer Clarke takes on Jeamie TKV for the vacant British heavyweight title in the main event at Vaillant Live in Derby.
Ben Shalom promotes Clarke vs TKV with BBC TWO airing it live in the UK, while TrillerTV+ broadcast the bout in the USA.
The two were slated to meet at the end of October, but TKV suffered an injury and the whole bill was put back.
Clarke (9-1-1, 7 KOs) turned professional after winning Olympic bronze in 2020, and built a decent record moving up the ranks, leading to a shot at the British and Commonwealth titles in March last year against Fabio Wardley.
In a back-and-forth thriller, where Clarke hit the canvas in the fifth, the pair couldn’t be separated in a split draw.
A rematch was the logical next step, and it would be a crushing defeat in the sequel for ‘Big Fraze’, as Wardley wiped him out in under a round.
The 34-year-old returned to action in April and halted Ebenezer Tetteh inside a round in Birmingham.
TKV (8-2, 5 KOs) stands in Clarke’s way this weekend, and after losing in six to Igor Macedo in September 2023, the Londoner then rebuilt, and three straight wins led him to a vacant British heavyweight title shot against David Adeleye in April.
The 32-year-old acquitted himself well, but would be controversially stopped in six after a misunderstanding of the referee’s instructions. He looks for redemption in Derby.
Prediction: Clarke has the seasoning advantage in this one, and I think his power can force an early stoppage, with the Burton man crowned the new champion.
Dalton-Kodua meet for English crown
The English welterweight title is on the line on the undercard, and Bobby Dalton (11-0, 2 KOs) can defend his belt for the first time with a points win over undefeated Southern Area champion Joel Kodua (9-0, 2 KOs).

Remaining Undercard
Fran Hennessy (6-0, 1 KO) can take the vacant WBC International bantamweight title on the cards against former WBC atomweight champion Fabiana Bytyqi (22-2-2, 5 KOs).
Jack Massey (22-3, 12 KOs) returns after a losing bid for the IBF cruiserweight title against Jai Opetaia last October, and he can return to winning ways inside the distance in his scheduled six-rounder against Ivan Gabriel Garcia (10-4-1, 10 KOs).

The sole eight-rounder is at middleweight, where Bradley Goldsmith (13-1, 9 KOs) can win clearly on points against Jordan Dujon (10-5).
In other six-round affairs, Scott Melvin (11-1, 2 KOs) can outpoint Harvey Sturton (3-0, 1 KO) at super lightweight and at super featherweight, Josh Rose (2-0) can do the same against Jorge Luis Huerta Balleza (3-14, 1 KO).
