Schofield vs Bahdi: Floyd Schofield and Lucas Bahdi clash for the vacant WBA lightweight world title on Saturday. Here’s the confirmed Schofield Bahdi start time below.
Indeed, Schofield vs Bahdi headlines the Wintrust Arena in Chicago.
The Schofield vs Bahdi fight is for a vacant title after Gervonta Davis was stripped of the belt in January, following an arrest warrant for domestic violence.
Schofield was scheduled to fight for a world title last February. However, the undefeated New Jersey native withdrew from his bout with Shakur Stevenson on fight week through illness.
Since then, ‘Kid Austin’ has fought once. He stopped former world champion Tevin Farmer in the opening round in June.
Meanwhile, Canada’s Bahdi also brings an unbeaten record into Schofield vs Bahdi.
Since wiping out top prospect Ashton Sylve in 2024, Bahdi has won three on the spin.
However, the 32-year-old hasn’t fought in 14 months. His last outing saw him secure a unanimous decision win over Roger Gutierrez.
