Terence Crawford’s unwavering belief that he’ll beat Canelo Alvarez has been demonstrated once again.
Crawford moves up two weight classes to challenge undisputed super middleweight champion Canelo at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday, live on Netflix.
The 37-year-old is a +165 underdog to pull off the upset, but has maintained a stark confidence throughout the build-up that he will hand Alvarez just a third professional loss, behind Floyd Mayweather Jr and Dmitry Bivol.
The Omaha man has taken that belief to new heights after being gifted a $15,000, 2025 Rolex Submariner on fight week.
Crawford’s sponsor WatchGuys.com handed him the timepiece, which has a ’42-0’ engraving on the case back – the record he will achieve if he beats Alvarez.
Crawford, a father of seven children, also picked up a $5,000 36mm Rolex Datejust for his oldest son.
‘Bud’ came face-to-face with Alvarez at Thursday’s final press conference at T-Mobile Arena and both men weighed the same as each other at Friday’s official weigh in, coming in at 167.5lbs.

“I’m feeling great,” Crawford said during the final press conference.
“I’m feeling ready to go shock the world.
“We know Canelo is a tough task, we know everything about him.

“We know what we’re up against and that’s another reason why we took this fight, because this is what legends are made from.
“It’s taking the chances and the risks like we are doing right now.”
The four-weight world champion has not fought since a unanimous decision win over Israil Madrimov last August and would become the first man in the four-belt era to become an undisputed world champion in three weight classes.
Alvarez reclaimed the undisputed crown with a comfortable points win over William Scull in May, the first on a four-fight deal he signed with Turki Alalshikh’s Riyadh Season.

“This fight means a lot,” the 35-year-old said during the final press conference.
“I feel great. Ready.
“I can’t wait for Saturday night.
“Thanks to everybody that’s coming to support the event.”
