Diego Magdaleno ready for Shobox test against Beltran Jr.

Undefeated Diego Magdaleno (21-0, 7 KOs) of Las Vegas will be showcased on Shobox this Friday evening, as he looks to extend his undefeated mark and put himself into contention for an eventual title shot. The talented, popular world-ranked super featherweight will face fellow southpaw Fernando Beltran Jr. (36-7-1, 20 KOs), of Tijuana, Mex., in the 130-pound main event this Friday, March 23, in the main event on ShoBox: The New Generation live on Showtime.

In a battle of unbeaten junior welterweights in the ShoBox co-feature at the Conference Center at Casino Del Sol in Tucson, Ariz., former international amateur standout and 2008 Cuban Olympic Bronze Medalist Yordenis Ugas (11-0, 5 KOs), of Miami, will be opposed by by Johnny Garcia (11-0, 8 KOs), of Holland, Mich., in an eight-round bout.

Tickets for the Top Rank event, priced at $100, $75, $50 and $35, are available at the casino box office and on www.casinodelsol.com.
