Friday evening at York Hall, Bethnal Green sees Harlem Eubank top a Wasserman promoted bill, as he takes on Tom Farrell in a rescheduled super lightweight ten rounder.

Channel 5 televise Eubank vs Farrell in the UK.

The fight was due to take place in July, but Farrell was forced to withdraw late due to contracting COVID-19.

Eubank (15-0, 6 KOs) has gradually stepped up in class recently, and has impressed, beginning with a September 2020 stoppage of old amateur rival Martin McDonagh.

From there, the 28-year-old has climbed the ranks, and has fought three times already this year. In May, he knocked out former Commonwealth champion Sean ‘Masher’ Dodd in two rounds, and he was last out in July, winning via disqualification against Farrell’s replacement, Eliot Chavez.

Farrell (21-5, 5 KOs) has had an up and down career, and has usually come up short when stepping up in class.

The 32-year-old reached the final of an Ultimate Boxxer tournament in November last year, losing to Cori Gibbs on the cards, and he rebounded with a points win over six against Olaide Fijabi in June.

Prediction: Eubank should be too skilful and speedy for Farrell, and I can see him getting a stoppage win before the halfway mark of this one.

Williams returns after Eubank Jr loss

The undercard is headed by former world title challenger, Liam Williams (23-4-1, 18 KOs), and the Welshman looks to rebound from back-to-back defeats with a return to the ring against Nizar Trimech (9-3-2, 4 KOs) in a scheduled middleweight ten rounder.

Williams gave a spirited effort before going down on the cards in a WBO title challenge to Demetrius Andrade in April last year, but looked out of sorts when dropped four times on the way to a points defeat to Chris Eubank Jr in February, although he did rally towards the finale of that contest.

‘The Machine’ comes back against Frenchman Trimech, a limited type that has won once in his last five attempts.

Prediction: Williams should shake off the rust and score an early to middle rounds stoppage.

Remaining Undercard

Elsewhere on the bill, Chloe Watson (3-0) will look to extend her unbeaten record at flyweight and can do so with a points win over unbeaten Spaniard Minerva Gutierrez (2-0, 1 KO).

Former IBO world lightweight challenger, Lucy Wildheart (10-1, 4 KOs) looks to make it six wins in a row and welterweight Lenny Fuller (12-1, 1 KO) returns.

Lightweight Mohammad Bilal Ali (6-1, 1 KO) also features.
