Carl Froch has given his say on Chris Eubank Jr’s rematch with Conor Benn.

Froch has sparred Eubank Jr on multiple occasions and recently spoke to Benn ahead of their second outing on November 15 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Just two months out from Eubank Jr and Benn’s second meeting many fighters are beginning to give their say on the fight and how each fighter will suit the weight the second time around.

’The Cobra’ uploaded a video to his Youtube channel – Froch On Fighting – where he broke it down.

“He is so much bigger than him.

“I’ve sparred Eubank Jr, quite a lot of rounds and he’s quite big and strong and tough.

“For Conor to go twelve rounds with Eubank and have a close fight with him it’s just brilliant.”

Both men saw the final bell after a gruelling 12 rounds with Eubank Jr prevailing by unanimous decision in April.

Froch praised Benn’s performance in the first clash and revealed what could make the difference in a rematch.

The 29-year-old moved up two weigh classes to meet Eubank Jr at middleweight, a division he had not fought in prior.

“I think Benn if he takes his time a bit more he’s got more of a chance.

“I think he did really really well, Conor Benn performed out of his skin.

“He will improve on the next fight and he’s a lot younger than Eubank Jr.

“I hope he lands a couple of big shots because he rocked him in the first fight.

“It was a good fight, it was a dog fight.”

’The Cobra’ didn’t hold back when giving his prediction, hoping to see his former sparring partner fall short.

“He plays the game really well, Chris Eubank Jr.

“I hope Benn chins him.

“I’m still making Eubank Jr a favourite.”

Before the rematch was made there was a lot of talk of possible other opposition for both men.

Benn called out a few names including Mario Barrios and Shakur Stevenson when he featured on Ariel Helwani’s show.

For Eubank Jr he has flirted with a fight with Mexican superstar, Canelo Alvarez and he also went straight to social media to congratulate and welcome a clash against three-weight undisputed world champion, Terence Crawford.
