Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua continue to be spoken about for a potential fight.
Paul’s manager Nakisa Bidarian recently had a meeting with Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s promoter to try and get the ball rolling.
‘The Problem Child’ is on the search for his next opponent and a fight with former two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua continues to be flirted with.
The potential of this matchup is becoming more likely by the day and Matchroom Chairman Eddie Hearn spoke to The Stomping Ground where he revealed a recent meeting with Bidarian.
“We had a get together the other day.
“It was close to an hour.
“We’ve obviously had our ups and downs with MVP.

“I think we are in a good place with them at the moment which is good for business.
“I really believe they want to do the fight.”
Matchroom and MVP have a history of back-and-forth’s, with Hearn shunned from being part of the promotion for Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano’s rematch in Dallas last November.
Hearn also filed a lawsuit against Paul in 2022 in response to Paul publicly claiming that Matchroom bribed Glenn Feldman to secure favourable decisions for their fighters.
’The Problem Child’ is no stranger to mega-fights; in 2024 Paul faced a 58-year-old Mike Tyson, attracting over 65,000,000 concurrent watchers.

“This could be one of the biggest moments in boxing.
“You will get probably the biggest moment and biggest fight in boxing.”
A clash with Joshua would be Paul’s toughest test by far.
Tommy Fury is the strongest name on Paul’s resume, and he managed to beat the American on points.

“This is dangerous.
“This is a little bit like tuning in to watch David Blaine.
“I expect ‘AJ’ to go in there and spark him bad.
“This is a straight forward night in the office.
“I think this is a horrific beatdown.”

Hearn provided a promising update on how the meeting went and what the chances of a potential match could be.
“If they really wanna do the fight then I believe the fight will happen.
“Its never I anticipated or called for but if it’s resented I can’t see us not taking it.
“We went through points that would be papered and I don’t think there’s a lot to discuss.
“The feeling I got from the conversation is one, this deal can get done and two this guy actually wants it.”
