Juergen Braehmer’s (43-2, 32 KOs) next opponent has been finalized, as he defends his title strap against Roberto “La Bestia” Bolonti (35-2, 24 KOs) on June 7 at Sport- und Kongresshalle Schwerin, Germany.

“This will be no cakewalk. Argentinians know how to fight – I have already fought four of them in the professional ranks,” says 35-year-old Braehmer, believing that a fight against Bolonti will be action-packed and entertaining for the crowd: “He likes to put a lot of pressure on his opponents and I am a counter-puncher. His style will play into my hands – I will tame ‘La Bestia’!”

The same-aged Bolonti thinks different, referring to the German’s loss against his compatriot Hugo Hernan Garay in 2008. “It will be no different come June 7. The beast will be hungry – hungry to win the WBA Championship!”

Braehmer, who was cooking Argentinian steak for the German media on Monday, answered Bolonti’s claims: “I was sick when I fought Garay. Bolonti should be prepared for a fit and ready version of Juergen Braehmer – the version that has never lost a fight before!”

Unbeaten WBO Youth Champions Tyron Zeuge (13-0, 7 KOs) and Noel Gevor (11-0, 6 KOs) as well as light heavyweight talent Enrico Koelling (13-0, 4 KOs) will be showcased on the undercard of Braehmer vs. Bolonti.
