Seven-Time, Five-Division World Champion Floyd “Money” Mayweather and reigning WBA Super Welterweight World Champion Miguel “Junito” Cotto will officially announce their May 5 mega-fight with a press tour making stops in San Juan, New York City and Los Angeles beginning Monday, February 27. The three city, coast-to-coast-to-coast tour will take place on three consecutive days, and best of all fans, all of the Mayweather vs. Cotto press conferences will be open to the public, so if you live nearby, you can head on down to see what the fighters have to say for themselves. Not to be outdone by the two-city coast-to-coast press tour for the Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley fight, Mayweather and Cotto will be hitting up three different cities and giving a chance to all of their local fans to come and show some support. At the press conferences, it’s expected that ticket pricing and details will also be made available.
We’ll also get to see whether Mayweather will be “playing nice” with Cotto, or whether he’ll be pulling his villain card once again. Of course, we’ll also get to see what he has to say about Pacquiao as well.
