Mickey Bey Jr. (19-1-1, 9 KOs), who was set to face Alan Herrera (32-5, 21 KOs) on this Friday’s ShoBox: The Next Generation, has fallen ill and therefore forced to withdraw from his scheduled bout.

The telecast, which will take place at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, N.Y., will still feature three of the Promotions hottest stars in J’Leon Love, Badou Jack and Chris Pearson. It will air immediately following the episode 1 premiere of All Access: Canelo vs. Angulo live at 9:30 P.M.

Bey Jr. most recently defeated Carlos Cardenas last December via a third-round knockout. He was looking to have a repeat performance of his last fight before he fell ill.

In the main event of the evening, undefeated super middleweight contender Love (16-0, 9 KOs) will face Providence’s Vladine Blosse (15-2-2, 7 KOs). In other televised action hard-hitting Jack (16-0, 9 KOs) will meet Derreck Edwards (26-3-1, 13 KOs) in a 10-round super middleweight bout and undefeated Pearson (13-0, 10 KOs) will take on Lanardo Tyner (31-8-2, 20 KOs) of Houston, Texas in an eight-round middleweight bout
