A curious looking card took place at the Agenda Arena in Dubai, and at the head of affairs, Jarrell Miller stopped Lucas Browne in the sixth of their scheduled ten rounder at heavyweight.

Miller had infamously lost out on a world title shot against Anthony Joshua in 2019 due to a failed drug test for a multitude of banned substances, and he subsequently failed further tests on his return. Browne was a former WBA world champion, but had also had his fair share of failed drug test controversies in the past.

Browne (31-4, KO27) had his fair share of success in the opening few rounds, but both had their successes in what was a fun fight. Miller (26-0-1, KO22) took full control from the end of the fourth, where the American landed a volley of shots on a hurt Browne, who did well to see out the frame. ‘Big Baby’ Miller largely dominated the fifth, and he then scored a knockdown in the sixth against the tiring Aussie, as he clubbed away with right hands that eventually felled Browne. He rose wearily, and when Miller poured the heat on after the resumption, the referee wisely called a halt just as the towel was coming in.

The undercard featured popular Irishman Jono Carroll (24-2-1, KO7), and the super featherweight took a wide decision win over ten rounds against fellow former world title challenger Miguel Marriaga (30-7, KO26). Carroll took the win by scores of 100-90, 99-91 and 98-92.

Cruiserweight prospect Soslan Asbarov (4-0, KO1) remained unbeaten, but had to settle for a majority verdict win in his ten rounder against Brandon Glanton (17-2, KO14). Asbarov took two tallies of 97-93 against a third card at 95-95.

At heavyweight, Ruslan Fayfer (28-4-1, KO18) scraped a split decision win against German Garcia Montes (8-5, KO8) over eight rounds. Two verdicts at 77-75 for Fayfer trumped the same score for Montes.

Kureysh Sagov (8-2-1, KO4) drew over eight rounds at cruiserweight against Ali Baloyev (12-1-1, KO8), and Dana Coolwell (10-2, KO7) snapped the unbeaten record at featherweight of Hasibullah Ahmadi (15-1, KO5) by taking an eight round points win.

Light heavyweight Djamal Dahou (18-0, KO16) remained unbeaten, halting Allan Kamote (29-14-5, KO16) in the second round of a scheduled eight, and Abdul Khan (8-0, KO2) stopped Jaskaran Singh (3-1-1, KO0) in the third round at super featherweight.

At light heavyweight, Artush Hovhannisyan (3-0, KO3) stayed perfect by by stopping David Zegarra (35-10-1, KO22) in three, and debutant Mikhail Tarabrin was upset by Victor Hugo Exner (10-12-2, KO4), who won by second round stoppage.

Welterweight debutant Emil Novruzov (1-0, KO1) enjoyed better fortune, as he stopped Yeison Gonzalez (17-11, KO12) inside two rounds, and Amir Hussain Ali Saeed (1-0, KO0) also won on debut, taking a 40-35 win across the board at super lightweight against Ajay V (0-2).
