Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame hosting event on May 2 with Freddie Roach, Al Bernstein, Mike McCallum & Joe Cortez

The Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame (NVBHOF) is proud to announce that its first fan event, “A Night with Boxing Legends,” will be held Thursday, May 2, beginning at 7:30 p.m. PT, at Diego’s Méxican Cuisine restaurant, located at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The event will feature four boxing superstars, from four different categories, from the NVBHOF’s inaugural class of inductees including:

nevada boxing hall of fame poster· “MIKE “The Body Snatcher” McCALLUM. Three-time world champion inducted in the Boxer Category.

· FREDDIE ROACH. Five-time Trainer of the Year, inducted in the Trainer Category

· JOE CORTEZ. Inducted in the Referee Category

· AL BERNSTEIN. Inducted in the Media Category

The four soon-to-be NVBHOF inductees will speak, take questions and sign autographs as well as provide personal memorabilia which will be included among other valuable prizes in a special raffle. Joining them as speakers and taking part in the fan Q&A will be two esteemed members of the NVBHOF’s Board of Directors — former WBC bantamweight champion WAYNE McCULLOUGH and former referee RICHARD STEELE. Additional surprise guests are also expected.

The NVBHOF will also be a recipient of a special presentation and donation by Jägermeister in conjunction with its current “Brother in Your Corner” contest and campaign.

Seating is Limited. Tickets, priced at $20 and tax deductible, can be purchased now via the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame website at www.nvbhof.com. Remaining tickets, priced at $25, can be purchased, at the door, on the night of the event.
