The weather forecast in southern California predicts a cloudy Friday night and the Thompson Boxing’s bout sheet predicts that there will also be Jonathan “Lil’ Thund’r” Arellano(10-0-1, 2 KO’s) raging in a stormy battle against Los Mochis’ featherweight Emmanuel Castro (2-1, 2 KO’s) in a 6 round battle.
Arellano, who was recently recognized by his hometown city of Ontario for his hard work and determination inside of the ring, had this to say about his upcoming battle, “I am ready to go against Castro. I want to keep busy and mix it up in the ring. Castro will keep me on my toes and he is a good scrapper. I don’t take any fight lightly and I like to keep improving my trade. Fight fans can expect a good battle.”
The Arellano-Castro bout is the co-main event to the 10-round super bantamweight NABF title main event of the evening between Efrain Esquivias and Fernando Beltran, Jr.
