Dillian Whyte has labelled Tyson Fury’s comeback fight against Arslanbek Makhmudov next month as “terrible”.
Whyte will likely be a keen observer as former rival Fury clashes with Makhmudov at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on April 11.
‘The Gypsy King’ is fighting for the first time since announcing his return to the ring after retiring following a second straight defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in December 2024.
The 37-year-old retired after stopping Whyte in six rounds in April 2022 only to return eight months later in a trilogy clash with Derek Chisora.
Whyte believes the Morecambe man is taking a soft touch in Makhmudov, who is coming off a unanimous decision win over Dave Allen in October.
“Tyson Fury is smart,” the 37-year-old told IFLTV.
“He fought Sefer Seferi and made it into a big comeback fight.
“It’s the same s***.
“I think it’s terrible.

“Fury can come back when he’s 60 and still beat Makhmudov.

Whyte is looking to make his own return to the ring after a damaging first round loss to Moses Itauma in August.
‘The Body Snatcher’, who has been linked with a rematch against Anthony Joshua, has named Chinese heavyweight Zhilei Zhang as a potential future foe.
“I’ve always wanted to fight the best guys, and Zhang is definitely one of the best guys of my era,” he added.
“So if he is available, then yes.
“I would like to get a good comeback fight, but if not, then I will jump straight back in again.
