At today’s final press conference ahead of the fight between Arthur Abraham (39-4, 28 KOs) and Nikola Sjekloca (26-1, 8 KOs) this Saturday at the Velodrom Berlin, Germany, which will host its first ever world title fight, Abraham was already looking ahead to something else — the prospect of an all-German showdown against Felix Sturm.

Arthur Abraham:

“I am looking forward to defend the WBO Belt at home, in my town. It is great to return to the ring inside a span of two months and I want to fight two more times after this one in 2014. Before calling it a career, sitting on the couch and watching TV at age 40, I want to meet Felix Sturm at Berlin’s Olympic Stadium – that’s what I am dreaming of.”

Nikola Sjekloca:

“I am thankful, finally getting the chance to fight for a world title after being rated highly in the pro ranks for such a long time. I lost to Bika but learned from my mistakes. I will show on May 3 that it was worth the wait and the experience, becoming Montenegro’s first world champion.”
