Unbeaten Heavyweight talent Efe Ajagba has signed a long-term promotional deal with Top Rank and Bob Arum.

The Nigerian power-puncher, who stands at 6”6 is ranked in the top 15 by both the WBC and WBA and has also added manager James Prince and head trainer Kay Koroma.

Ajagba (13-0, 11 KOs), a 2016 Rio Olympian and Bronze medalist at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, holds the record for the fastest win in boxing history, when opponent Curtis Harper walked out of the ring one second after the opening bell in their August 2018 clash.

“I made this decision to become a better boxer and to advance my career.

“That’s why I signed with James Prince and Top Rank,” Ajagba said.

“When I return to the ring soon, you will see a new Efe Ajagba. Kay Koroma and I are working on my head movement and defense, as I seek to become a more well-rounded fighter.”

Ajagba, 26, who was named by now promotional stablemate and WBC Heavyweight World champion Tyson Fury in an Instagram video as a future opponent, stopped former World title challenger Razvan Cojanu in his last outing in March.

And new promoter, Arum who also handles the careers of Heavyweights Kubrat Pulev, Oscar Rivas and Carlos Takam, believes he has a future Heavyweight champion in his ranks.

“Efe Ajagba is one of the most gifted young heavyweights I’ve seen in quite some time,” Top Rank chairman Bob Arum added.

“He has immense physical tools and a great work ethic. I have the utmost confidence that we’re looking at a future heavyweight champion.”
