By making the move the former Amateur World Lightweight Champion once again links up with former Team GB team mate Billy Joe Saunders, as well as joins WBO Inter-Continental Lightweight Champion Kevin Mitchell, former IBO World Light Welterweight Champion Colin Lynes plus upcoming prospects Billy Morgan, Vinny Mitchell, Peter McDonagh, Frankie Buglione, Freddie Turner, Charlie Hoy and Nathan Weise, who are also coached by the dynamic duo at the World famous gym.

Speaking earlier today Frankie said, “It’s really good being here with Jimmy and Mark, yeah, I’m already doing things I haven’t done before and I think there’ll be a big improvement.

I was learning all the time under Arnie (Anthony Farnell) but I needed a change really, so I’m happy to be at the TKO now.

It’s good to be back with Billy Joe (Saunders), we were together as amateurs and it’s good to be in the gym with him again, because we have similar styles and we’re both class operators. We’re both on top of our game and as long as I get back to what I’ve been doing and being around Kevin Mitchell and all the other fighters in the gym I’ll be back to my best.

I’m looking forward to getting some sparring with Kevin (Mitchell), he’s a world class operator, so hopefully that’ll be soon.

I’m going to get an apartment down here in the next few weeks, it’s a sacrifice you’ve got to make really. I’m just going to keep my head down and I’ll soon be World Champion.”

Jimmy Tibbs then spoke briefly, on Frankie joining his stable, “Obviously he’s a very good fighter, he won the World Championships as an amateur a couple of years ago.

He’s a very, very skillful boxer, very talented indeed. We’re very pleased to have him in the camp and I think we can add more to what he’s already got.

The boys down here love good fighters, all the boys are training hard and Frankie adds another good fighter to the camp, Mark and myself are very pleased to have Frankie here with us.”
