Carl Froch has warned Anthony Joshua’s against fighting one man.

Former world champion Froch has doubts if Joshua can ever reach the highs he once did years ago.

‘AJ’ hasn’t been seen in a professional boxing ring since September 2024 where he was brutally stopped by Daniel Dubois.

Dubois put Joshua down four times before ending the contest in round five.

Froch recently spoke on his YouTube channel over ‘AJ’s’ future.

“The ambition and the desire has gone.”

‘The Cobra’ also gave his thoughts on a potential matchup between Joshua and 20-year-old starlet Moses Itauma.

Itauma has stunned since Turning over into the professional ranks, stopping 11 of his 13 opponents so far despite having no senior amateur experience.

“There’s a few new heavyweights coming through and Moses Itauma, just to mention one, you wouldn’t start putting ‘AJ’ in with any of these young up-and-comers who can punch hard because I just don’t think he’s got a chance.”

Itauma was last in action in August, stopping heavyweight veteran Dillian Whyte just two minutes into their anticipated match.

The 20-year-old is set to return in January against Jermaine Franklin, a man who in fact took Joshua the distance a few years ago.

Journalist Gareth A Davies shockingly had a similar prediction as he claimed if Joshua and Itauma ever were to share the ring the 20-year-old would stop ‘AJ’ in ‘under three rounds’

Joshua’s return to the ring is a surprising one, facing YouTuber-turned-boxer; Jake Paul next month.

After 14 months out of the ring; Joshua has massive expectations from the public to finish Paul and do it early considering Joshua’s experience, size, pedigree, carrying almost every advantage into the fight.

After the Paul fight, Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has flirted with a February return date, His Excellency Turki Alalshikh has also claimed ‘AJ’ will fight in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

It is no secret Joshua will still be eyeing a British dust-up with long-standing rival, Tyson Fury who despite being retired continues to be mentioned as a possible opponent for ‘AJ’.
