Moses Itauma has ruled out future fights with Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.
Itauma is the consensus future of the heavyweight division and is expected to be Britain’s major heavyweight hope after Joshua and Fury eventually call it a day.
The 21-year-old will look to win a maiden world title when he challenges Filip Hrgovic for the vacant IBF heavyweight crown on August 29 at the O2 Arena.
Fury and Joshua are on course to finally meet in a long-awaited battle in November in what could be the final bout of their respective careers.
‘AJ’ previously told Pro Boxing Fans he would be willing to face the young star, while ‘The Gypsy King’ said he had no interest in fighting him.
Asked whether he’s keen to tackle the pair before they retire, Itauma told talkSPORT: “Not really.
“I think for me to do or suggest that I think it’s a bit disresecpful.
“AJ obviously isn’t in his prime and neither is Tyson Fury and I think it would be disrespectful for me to say I would love to fight these guys now, because obviously they’re not the fighters that they once was.
“But obviously they’re very good and capable fighters.
“If all three of us were in our primes, it would be lovely fights, but obviously I’ve got Filip Hrgovic in front of me.”
The Kent man was originally ordered to face Frank Sanchez for the vacant title after his bout with Hrgovic was announced.
Itauma’s promoter, Frank Warren confirmed that he paid Sanchez to step aside, but has revealed the Cuban will receive a shot at the winner.
“We paid [Sanchez] some money,” he told BBC Sport.
“We said whoever wins the fight, you’re not losing out and you’ll get the opportunity to fight for the title against the winner.”

Should Itauma overcome Hrgovic he will become the youngest heavyweight world champion since Mike Tyson achieved the feat in 1986 at just 20-years-old.
Itauma is undefeated in 14 professional bouts and enhanced his credentials with a brutal fifth round knockout of Jermaine Franklin in March.
Hrgovic has won three on the bounce since an eighth round defeat to Daniel Dubois in 2024, stopping Dave Allen in three rounds in his most recent outing in May.
