As the UK endures a second national lockdown, following the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, former world champion Johnny Nelson and former European champion Spencer Oliver have introduced a new fitness workout, ‘Get On It.’

The pair were no strangers to going the distance in their professional careers and have included that element in their plan, with users able to test themselves through 12x real-time boxing rounds.

As well as the 12 rounds, the downloadable guide, which is targeted towards all ages and capabilities, includes a range of other methods to maintain fitness, notably a warm up and cool down video, two full body conditioning workouts, as well as skipping tutorials.

Reduced from $137, ‘Get On It’ is now available for just $15 on a limited time lockdown offer, with no equipment required.

Buyers will receive a programme containing a password which will provide access to all the training plans, as well as a nutritional guide including 10 healthy recipes, with the nutritional aspect just as significant as the training element.

“There’s no boxing one like this,” Nelson told proboxing-fans.com.

“You’ll have it on the screen. You’ll have me, you’ll have Spencer. Round one is Spencer, round two is me, vice versa.

“So we’re working out with you on screen, you’re seeing it and so as we’re working out the combinations we’re throwing, you’re throwing and you can work it at your own speed, your own pace.

“But the whole three minutes we are working with you, the whole three minutes and so you are not alone.

“You get someone inspiring you, you’ve got me winding you up and saying ‘come on get into it, don’t you dare give up!”

Spencer Oliver first posed the idea of a keep fit boxing programme to his Sky Sports colleague, Nelson after taking on various fitness challenges during the first lockdown in March.

Oliver says they have seen a positive reaction to the unique programme and believes it is crucial to maintain fitness, whilst gyms and leisure centres remain closed until at least December 2nd.

“We’ve had a really good response to it,” Oliver told proboxing-fans.com

“I think the people are really enjoying it.

“It’s something unique and I think the people are finding it fun and it’s keeping people active in a time when it’s very difficult to do that with all gyms and everything shut.

“We don’t really know the immediate future.”
