Anthony Joshua discussed how fights with Tyson Fury and more would play out.
Joshua and Fury have been on a collision course to face each other for over a decade now, as a winter showdown looms.
‘AJ’ is set to return to the ring on July 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as he fights for the first time since his sixth-round stoppage of Jake Paul.
He is set to take on Kristian Prenga, a rising Albanian heavyweight with 20 wins, all of which have come by way of stoppage.
Prenga has just one loss on his record, suffering a points defeat to Giovanni Auriemma in his fifth professional contest.
Speaking recently to DAZN, the 36-year-old was asked how he believed fights with four potential opponents would play out.
The first fighter Joshua was asked about was former kickboxing champion Rico Verhoeven.
He recently caused two-time undisputed heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk plenty of problems, having been ahead on the scorecards before being controversially stopped in the 11th round.
“I believe I could do it within eight rounds.”
The next name given to ‘AJ’ was former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.
Wilder and Joshua have gone back-and-forth over a number of years, and a fight seemed inevitable.
Joshua looked set to fight ‘The Bronze Bomber’ back in 2023 after taking on Otto Wallin, with Deontay Wilder vs Joseph Parker featuring on the undercard.
The pair were both expected to win before meeting in a blockbuster clash next.
However, Parker caused a major upset, ripping up the script, and the two devastating punchers may never meet in the ring.

The 36-year-old was then asked about an opponent he has faced twice before, once as an amateur and once as a professional.
Dillian Whyte has been an ever-present figure throughout Joshua’s career. They first clashed in 2009, when ‘The Body Snatcher’ defeated the rising star over three rounds at Tufnell Park in the amateurs.
Joshua got his revenge in the professional ranks six years later, stopping Whyte in the seventh round in what was a real firefight.

Finally, Joshua was asked about ‘The Gypsy King’. Fury has shared the heavyweight spotlight with Joshua over the last decade, with many divided over who is Britain’s best heavyweight.
‘AJ’ and Fury interestingly sparred years ago, when Fury had just turned professional while Joshua was still in the amateur ranks, with Fury praising the rising star.
A fight has eluded them for years but looks closer than ever after they both fight this month, should all go to plan.
Fury returns one day before Joshua, on July 24, as he faces former challenger Mariusz Wach in Thailand.
