Former unified world lightweight champion Juan “Baby Bull” Diaz won a ten round unanimous decision over Carlos Cardenas. It’s the 5th straight win for Juan Diaz as he continues his comeback, which began in April 2013. Diaz had stepped away from the sport in the summer of 2010 after losing four of six fights, including two losses to Juan Manuel Marquez. He’s continuing to look better in each outing, and may be stepping back up towards a fringe contender opponent next.

Also on the card, welterweight Alex Saucedo stays unbeaten at (14-0, 10 KOs) with a 3rd round KO over Gary Bergeron.

Lightweight Casey Ramos stays unbeaten at (18-0, 5 KOs) wins a six round unanimous decision over Angel Hernandez.

Diaz still has a ton of fans and a lot of people pulling for him, so if he’s able to get back into contention it’ll make for a big event whoever it’s against. Stay tuned for more updates.
