Press Conference Quotes

Peter Manfredo, Jr: “It’s been two years since I’ve fought here at home. The last time I got crushed by (Sakio) Bika. It was a good night for him but also a good night for me. I realized that I had to come down in weight to be a world champion. My last fight I won the world title (IBO middleweight) and now I’m back fighting as world champion. I’ve been fighting since I’ve been five, it’s all I know – I am a fighter! I’m ready and excited. I’ve made weight and now I’m going to eat like I’m going to the electric chair. So, tomorrow we’re going to throw some shots. Good luck to him (to his opponent) bit I know my hands will be raised.”

John Berrio: “I came from Colombia to fight; I know I’m in the land of Peter Manfredo. I’m the underdog but this is a big opportunity for me. I never fight chumps. It’s not going to be an easy fight for either one of us. I’m up for the challenge and have nothing to lose. Bring it on.”

Keith Kozlin: “We used to do a lot of sparring together. I sparred with Peter (Manfredo) and that experience is going to help me win tomorrow night.”

Joe Gardner: “Like Keith said, it’s a big fight for of us. It’s my first title shot and his, we have equal records, and it’s going to be an exciting fight.”

Marius Wach: “I’m looking forward to a good fight tomorrow.”

Galen Brown: “I want to thank everybody for bringing me up. I’m always asked why I keep fighting giants because I could drop down in weight. My passion is to fight giants. I’m not an underdog. I’m here to win and I don’t lay down for anybody.”

Aleksandra Magdziak Lopes: “I’m excited to be fighting on this show. I’m looking forward to this fight. We had a great training camp. I’m excited to have another Polish fighter on the same card. Polish fans are really intense.”

Eric Estrada: “Training camp was great and I’m in great shape. I can’t wait to get in the ring.”

Tobias Rice: “I want to thank everybody for having me here. Enjoy the fights.”

Dante Wiggins: “I’m dedicating this fight to my nephew who passed. The guy fighting me is going to need a brain test. I know Peter’s (Manfredo) anxious to fight, so I’m going to get mine over with quick.”

Winston Thorpe: “I want to thank Jesse (Barboza) because most fighters don’t step-up and fight.”

Jonathan Vazquez: “This is my third fight and it’s going to be a good one.”

Ernest Butler III: “I’m ready to fight.”

Thomas Falowo: “I’m excited to make my home debut and at home. I’ve been fighting over six years. I’m well prepared and ready to get started.”

Odias Dumezil: “I worked hard and I’m ready for this fight.”
