Martin Murray will finally get to step inside the ring with long time rival Billy Joe Saunders this Friday night.
Murray will get a shot at Billy Joe Saunders’ world title after a number of previously slated clashes fell through over the years. After a pandemic hit year both men will enter the squared circle for the first time in over 12 months.
Murray is in a confident mood as he approaches fight night number 46 of his professional career which has spanned a total of 13 years and counting.
The St Helens man has challenged, come close and possibly should’ve been world champion by now only being convincingly beaten by Gennady Golovkin in all of his world title opportunities.
