Richard Riakporhe has vacated his British Cruiserweight title, with Chris Billam-Smith set to face Deion Jumah, the British Boxing Board of Control have announced.

Riakporhe, who claimed the Lonsdale belt with a unanimous decision win over Jack Massey in December, relinquished the title, enabling mandatory challenger, Jumah and Commonwealth champion, Billam-Smith to contest the crown on the undercard of Dillian Whyte’s rematch with Alexander Povetkin on November 21, although the bout is awaiting official confirmation.

Elsewhere, James Tennyson has vacated the British Lightweight title, with Liam Walsh ordered to face Paul Hyland Jr for the belt by the end of March 2021, with the fight sent to purse bids.

Willy Hutchinson, who stormed to victory over Jose Miguel Fandino on Saturday has been ordered to face British and Commonwealth champion Lerrone Richards, with the fight also going to purse bids and required to take place by the same date.

The rematch between Denzel Bentley and Mark Heffron will take place on November 14, subject to official confirmation with the bout made a final eliminator for Liam Williams’ British Middleweight crown, who is set to move towards a shot at WBO champion, Demetrius Andrade following his swift win over Andrew Robinson.

British Welterweight titlist Chris Jenkins has been ordered to face English champion Ekow Essuman, after Conor Benn opted to face Sebastian Formella.
