The Amanda Serrano knockout record is also on the line as she defends her WBO and WBA featherweight world titles against Lucrecia Anabella Manzur in California.

Serrano (49-4-1, 32 KOs) vs Manzur (14-4, 7 KOs), with Serrano’s knockout record on the line, takes place at the Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula.

The seven-weight world champion is on the hunt to break further records. This will be the first unified women’s world championship fight to run 12 two-minute rounds.

Not only that, a stoppage win would break the Amanda Serrano knockout record tie with Christy Martin for the most knockouts in women’s boxing history. The pair currently share 32 apiece.

The 37-year-old southpaw is in the twilight years of her illustrious career, but even so she retained her titles with a second round stoppage of Cheyenne Hanson in May.

Manzur looks to rip up the script in what will be her first attempt at world honours.

The 27-year-old has been beaten four times in her 18-fight career, but is on a run of five straight victories.

Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions promote Serrano vs Manzur with TikTok streaming the bout live.

Prediction: This all appears set up for Serrano to make yet more history. I think she will stop Manzur by halfway.

Harvey returns

In the chief support of Serrano vs Manzur, 2024 Olympian Jahmal Harvey is back in action. Now the 23-year-old featherweight looks to continue his bright start to the professional ranks when he meets Hammet Kowany Keb del Valle.

Since turning professional, Harvey (3-0, 2 KOs) secured his third win in April, stopping Daniel Vicente Lugo Valdez in the fifth round

Prediction: Harvey can become the second man to stop Keb del Valle.

Flores-Mortensen clash for world title

Mayelli Flores aims to become world champion again. This time she clashes with Melissa Mortensen for the vacant WBA super bantamweight title

Flores put in a relentless display, but Ellie Scotney outclassed her in the end. It was a bid for the undisputed super bantamweight crown in April.

Scotney has since vacated her belts, as she moves up to featherweight.

Mortensen is undefeated in nine professional fights, but this will be the first time she competes outside of her native Denmark.

Prediction: Mortensen can become the new world champion on points in the third bout on the Serrano vs Manzur bill.

Remaining Undercard

Jackson Marinez stands in the way of Avious Griffin extending his knockout streak at welterweight. The smart money is on another stoppage for the American.

Meanwhile, making just her second professional start, Jully Poca should have enough class to see off Cinderella Linnear on points in their super lightweight clash.

A cruiserweight shootout looms as double Olympian Keno Marley takes on Braylan Brooks.

Outpointing Brook Sibrian should be well within reach for rising minimumweight contender Lupita Medina. Elsewhere, Salvador Zavala Molina could push heavyweight Nelvie Tiafack the full distance.

In a battle of unbeaten featherweights, Iyana Verduzco should emerge victorious on points against Miguelina Hernandez. Jocelyn Camarillo can do the same against Ashley Felix at minimumweight.

Lightweight prospect, Paolo Barredo, 19, should remain unbeaten with a points success over Jorge Elias Garcia Manrriquez.

Finally, rounding out the Serrano vs Manzur undercard, Albina Moldazhanova can maintain her 100% knockout ratio by halting Sheila Fabiana Liesegang in their super lightweight meeting.
