Tyson Fury enters vow of silence as he wears tape over mouth at today’s press conference

Dereck Chisora promised to KO rival Tyson Fury once and for all when they clash at the ExCeL London on Saturday, November 29th, but Fury had no reply. That’s because the Manchester giant turned up at today’s head-to-head press conference with tape strapped over his mouth and “BBBofC?????” written on it – in reference to his £15,000 fine by the Board for misconduct at a previous press conference with Chisora – and vowed to stay silent until fight night.

Chisora and Fury clash in the biggest all-British heavyweight clash in recent years, after their previously scheduled July clash was cancelled at the last minute.

So for the first time ever at a press conference the volatile Fury didn’t say a single word and it was left to his uncle and trainer Peter to do all the talking.

“The Board wanted us to tone it down so here’s Tyson – the Board dummy,” said Peter.

Fury did gesture that he’d knockout Chisora in two rounds, though, and later stripped off to reveal a well-honed body showing that he’s fight ready with nearly two months to go.

Chisora said, “I will knockout him, plain and simple.

“I’m not saying what round, all I’m saying is he’s going to be knocked out.

“Bring on November 29th, I’ll show everyone what I would have done to him in July. I’ll be in fantastic shape come fight night and he’s looking in good shape himself so the better man will win and that will be me.”
