Tyson Fury insists he would emphatically knockout Anthony Joshua inside three rounds and confirms he will definitely fight in December.

Fury is awaiting news on a contracted third fight with Deontay Wilder after dethroning the ‘Bronze Bomber’ in seven stunning rounds in February in Las Vegas, to claim the WBC and Ring Magazine titles.

The ‘Gypsy King’ has a two-fight deal in place with unified world champion Anthony Joshua in 2021 and after the Londoner envisaged a sixth round stoppage over his rival, Fury predicted he would deal with his rival in half the time.

“I’ll step up and I’ll smash Anthony Joshua into next week,” Fury told talkSPORT.

“I’ve got more boxing ability in my little toe than he’s got in his whole body.

“I respect Anthony Joshua, I respect where he’s come from and what he’s done, he’s changed his stars as a person and he’s done fantastic in his career, but there are levels to this game and me, I’m top tier. I think Joshua is a third-tier heavyweight.

“I can beat him in a boxing match, I can beat him on the inside, I can beat him at punching, I can beat him every single way of the week.

“And there’s only way to prove that I can’t… come and show me that I can’t.

“I’d knock him out inside three rounds. How’s he going to get out of the way of me?

“Is he fleet-footed enough to get out of the way?

“I’d put him in down two or three rounds, easy. He’s very vulnerable early on, he only needs one left hook on the head, to the body, anywhere, he’s gone, he can’t take them.”

Fury’s US promoter Bob Arum has reportedly ruled out the initial proposed date of December 19, with a reduced crowd at Raiders Stadium in Vegas, following an influx of NFL games set for the same date.

Top Rank chairman, Arum is reportedly still hopeful of staging the clash this year, however Fury has vowed to fight in December, regardless of whether that be against Wilder.

“The one thing I want to announce to the world is I will be fighting in December, whether it’s Wilder in Las Vegas, or if it’s Joe Bloggs in England,” the 32-year-old added.

“I want to fight now! I’m ready to go today, tomorrow, next week or the next couple of months.

“I made it very clear that if we can’t fight in America I want to come back to the UK and do a homecoming, have a fight here in the UK against whoever, I don’t care.

“With or without a crowd, I don’t care.”

Joshua is set to make a first defence of his second reign as world Heavyweight champion in a rescheduled showdown with Kubrat Pulev, with December 12 reportedly earmarked.

Nevertheless, Fury has challenged his rival to enforce an all-British showdown at the back end of this year, in a bid to crown the first undisputed Heavyweight world champion since Lennox Lewis.

“Have you ever seen a hot knife go through butter before? That’s what I will do to that bodybuilding plastic b*****d,” Fury continued.

“I will put him down like cheese, and that’s a promise!

“Tell AJ to grow a pair and let’s step up in December and fight!

“I’ve been training since March, twice a day, six days a week. I’m ready for this fight.

“I’m ready to go. I don’t need a big long training camp, I can be ready in three or four weeks, I’m always fit anyway.

“So let’s get this big AJ fight on, let’s get it on. If Wilder don’t happen, let’s fight in December and give the fans what they want to see.”
