DiBella Entertainment (DBE) has announced the addition of highly regarded prospect Radivoje Kalajdzic to their stable. Promoter Lou DiBella has had his eye on the undefeated Kalajdzic, known as “Hot Rod”, for some time, and is thrilled to finally welcome him to the DBE team. With his record standing at a perfect 19-0, 12KO’s, the 24-year-old is looking to burst onto the scene of the loaded 175lb. division.

“We’re pleased to be working with ‘Hot Rod’ Kalajdzic,” said Lou DiBella, President of DiBella Entertainment. “He’s more than just a great nickname, he’s one of the best light heavyweights in the world. At just 24 years old, his future is very bright and big fights are on the horizon.”

Kalajdzic was born in Bosnia, before safely relocating to Saint Petersburg, Florida, in 1998 from the war-torn country. Kalajdzic turned pro in 2011, at just 19 years of age following a limited amateur background. What Kalajdzic missed in the amateurs, he has picked up in the pro ranks, keeping an active pace throughout his four-plus year career, and has shown much improvement with each and every outing. Kalajdzic is a skilled boxer/puncher with devastating power and tremendous overall ability. Kalajdzic has already picked up two victories this year, and is now looking to throw his name into the mix in one of boxing’s most exciting divisions.

“I’m very excited to have signed with DiBella Entertainment,” said Kalajdzic. “I am ready to step up and challenge the top fighters in my division. I’ve seen how Lou DiBella has elevated the careers of other fighters and champions and I’m very confident that, with Lou, my career will soar to new heights.”

“I am extremely happy that we signed with Lou DiBella,” said Kalajdzic’s trainer Peter Fernandez. “There are many promoters out there, but it was my choice to go with Lou, whom I have been friends with for a long time. ‘Hot Rod’s’ manager Arisel Sotologo was instrumental in getting him to 19-0, and we will let Lou take it from here. We are thrilled to be a part of the team and I am certain that ‘Hot Rod’ will win a world title under DBE.”
