The Colombia Heroicos continued their explosive start to World Series of Boxing with a third straight win of Season VII on Friday night in Cartagena.

Heroicos have impressed in the early stages of their debut WSB campaign, but never more so than in this stirring comeback from 2-0 down against last season’s champions Cuba Domadores, which always had the potential to go down as one of the best matches in the history of the competition.

Before the start of Week Five, last year’s Semi-finalists the Uzbek Tigers had made a slow start to Season VII that threatened to endanger their hopes of reaching the Play-Offs. Saturday’s superb 5-0 whitewash of a new-look Patriots Boxing Team – and the return of talismanic Olympic Champion Hasanboy Dusmatov – suggested, however, that their season is just about to kick into gear.
