The much-anticipated Mike Alvarado vs. Ruslan Provodnikov junior welterweight rumble takes place this Saturday night in Denver, Colorado, and will be televised live on HBO. It’s been Alvarado vs. Provodnikov fight week in Denver over the past few days, with each of the fighters holding a media workout, and the final press conference taking place Thursday afternoon.

As you can see from all of the photos from their workouts, these two are both in excellent condition, although they’re cutting down weight right now as well. They also are both lighthearted and ready for a joke outside the ring.
But inside that squared circle, they’re all business of course. That’s why so many fans are looking forward to this fight and the fireworks its nearly certain to produce.
The two fighters have respect for one another and each man’s toughness, but at the same time, each is very confident heading into the fight.
