Nathan Cleverly was back in the ring recently as he took on late sub Aleksi Kuziemski and brought home the WBO light heavyweight title. Cleverly, formerly the interim titleholder, was supposed to fight the regular titlist Juergen Braehmer in a big showdown, but Braehmer pulled out of the bout during the week leading up to the fight. Tony Bellew was brought in as the sub but it was deemed he couldn’t safely make the weight, and so Kuziemski, who had previously fought Braehmer, was brought in at the last minute. Despite all of the chaos, Cleverly took care of business.
