Eddie Hearn has predicted a potential Conor Benn retirement following his devastating loss to Ryan Garcia.
Benn, who was previously promoted by Hearn, was blown away in two rounds by Garcia in Las Vegas last Saturday.
The dramatic defeat ended Benn’s hopes of landing a maiden world title, with Garcia retaining his WBC welterweight crown for the first time.
Benn, who fought for the second time under Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing banner, following his shock switch from Hearn’s Matchroom in February, released a statement following the bout, admitting he does not know where his future lies.
However, Hearn believes there’s a chance the 29-year-old may call time on his career, following the brutal loss.

“I just felt like he looked lost, I don’t know, he didn’t really look like himself,” he told IFLTV.
“And in the ring he looked all over the place. Jumping around. Diving in. He looked like a rabbit in headlights.
“Conor Benn will be done in the next year or so. He may have one more fight, who knows? He may not even fight again.
“I think he wants his money. He’s made a load of money. He’s not going to beat anyone of significance at 160. So what are you in the game for?”
Benn made the 147 pound limit for the first time in over four years, but revealed he would move up to either 160 or 168 after his bout with Garcia.
Despite the American demolishing him, WBO middleweight champion, Denzel Bentley has already offered Benn a bout.
Bentley told Sky Sports: “Obviously it’s beneficial for me, especially financially, so 100 per cent that’s the fight I would take.
“I’ve never had any beef with Conor, we’ve always been cool.”
“But if he is coming to the 160lb division, he goes from a companion to a potential challenger.
“Once he’s well and fit, if he decides to move up to 160lbs and he does want the challenge, I think that’s probably a conversation we can probably have ourselves.
“I think at 160lbs he’ll be a lot more fuelled. But, listen, I punch as well and there were a lot of flaws in his game that night that I could exploit.”
