Fight for the Cure in Ottawa this weekend headlined by political boxing match

This Saturday, March 31st, the gala Fight For The Cure will be presented at the Hampton Inn in Ottawa. The goal of this charity event is to raise as much money as possible for cancer. Simultaneously, a silent auction will take place throughout the evening.

During this event, there will be several boxing fights. The main fight will be featuring Justin Trudeau against Patrick Brazeau, a match of two local politicians who will be getting a chance to duel it out. Of course, both have their eyes on the prize, and reaching the event’s goal of hopefully raising $200,000 for cancer. Each has lost family members to cancer and is therefore eager to get an opportunity to strike back in the ring.

Each man has been training in preparation for the fight, which will be fought with Olympic-style rules.

The boxer Jean Pascal will also be on hand to present the winners.

Now, what can we do to see some American politicians step in the squared circle and fight one another? I know quite a few people who would be eager to watch some of the opposed members of Congress hash out their differences and take out some anger on one another.
