Jake Paul apparently wants to face the winner of Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua. However, a more realistic Jake Paul vs Darren Till fight is in discussions.

Fury and Joshua will settle their decade-long rivalry on December 11 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

Despite breaking his jaw in a brutal sixth round defeat to Joshua last December, Paul is keen to face ‘AJ’ again, according to his manager Nakisa Bidarian, whom he founded Most Valuable Promotions with.

Fury’s younger brother Tommy beat Paul on points in 2023. However, ‘The Problem Child’ is also open to facing the two-time heavyweight world champion.

“Truthfully, he wants to fight Anthony Joshua again,” Bidarian told Sun Sport. “That to him is ideal, but I think he was saying he’d fight either guy.”

Bidarian says he spoke to Paul last week about his comeback. He claims ‘The Problem Child’ said he wasn’t hurt by Joshua’s punches, despite breaking his jaw.

“And honestly what he said to me was, ‘Dude, none of that s*** hurt. Even when he broke my jaw, yeah, it was a zinger, but I wasn’t like, oh my god, it’s hurting so bad. I love this, I’m a bigger dog than I’ve ever been, and I want to come back and kill.’

“That’s his perspective.”

A meeting with the Fury Joshua winner appears unlikely. Though the American aims to make his comeback before the end of the year.

The 29-year-old has not fought since losing to Joshua. Paul underwent two surgeries after fracturing his jaw in two places.

Paul now holds a professional record of 12 wins and two defeats. Before facing Joshua, he beat Mike Tyson and Julio César Chávez Jr. The Joshua loss marked his first defeat since the aforementioned Fury outpointed him in Saudi Arabia.

Jake Paul Darren Till in talks

The YouTuber-turned-boxer could return on Christmas Eve. Paul’s team has discussed a bout with former UFC fighter Darren Till.

“Darren Till is definitely one of the names that Jake put out there on his list and is definitely one of the names that we’ve been speaking to,” Bidarian said.

“The date and time and location depends on how quickly I can get the opponent done and the distribution of the fight appropriately figured out based on that opponent.

“So, if it takes another three, four, five weeks to figure this out, there’s no fighting this year; it’s probably early next year.

“If we figure it out in the next 24 hours, we’ll hopefully get a fight in this year.

“But I can’t tell you today if it’s one or the other. But we’re trying our best to get it done.”
