Adam Azim will return to the ring against Gabriel Gollaz Valenzuela on December 4. Meanwhile, Frazer Clarke vs Nick Webb could land on the undercard.
Azim will make his long-awaited return against Mexico’s Valenzuela at the Copper Box Arena, BOXXER CEO Ben Shalom confirmed on Tuesday.
The bout will be an IBF super lightweight title eliminator.
Delgado and Arthur Biyarslanov were due to fight for the vacant belt this Saturday, however Delgado pulled out, due to safety concerns in travelling to Saudi Arabia, following ongoing attacks from Houthis.
The fight was due to feature on the undercard of Canelo Alvarez vs Christian Mbilli on Saturday in Riyadh. However, Delgado and his team have not travelled.
The road to Azim Valenzuela
Azim was last out in May stopping Steve Claggett in three rounds. The 24-year-old is rated at four with the IBF. Meanwhile, Valenzuela is at six.

Delgado beat Valenzuela last November. His last trip to England saw him outpoint Robbie Davies Jr in 2021.
Azim will hope victory over Valenzuela leads to a future clash with WBC champion, Dalton Smith.
Smith retained his belt with a tight points win over Alberto Puello on Saturday and is targeting a bout at Sheffield Wednesday’s Hillsborough stadium next.

“For him to have a big fight in England, it’s got to be me and him,” Azim told Sun Sport.
“We’re both going to be dance partners in the UK to build up a massive showdown in England.”
Clarke vs Webb likely
Frazer Clarke could set to feature in the co-main event of Azim Valenzuela. A fight with Nick Webb is likely to land on the card, sources told proboxing-fans.com.
Clarke had been exploring a potential bout with Joseph Parker on the undercard of Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua on December 11 in Cardiff.

However, a Clarke vs Webb showdown appears more realistic. Webb, who was stopped by Emanuel Odiase in May, has signed for the fight, according to sources.
