Tommy Fury proved his power cannot be slept on during a body shot challenge which left strongman Eddie Hall in agony.

Fury appeared in a viral ‘day in the life’ YouTube video with Hall earlier this week in which the pair completed a series of challenges, including a diet swap.

After trading breakfasts at a local diner in Stoke-On-Trent, Fury and Hall hit the boxing gym to exchange body blows, wearing one glove and taking it in turns to strike each other.

Both men were relatively unfazed by each other’s power when armed with a body protector, however when Hall insisted that the body protector was removed, the 2017 World’s Strongest Man visibly felt the power of the 23-year-old.

After eating a body shot, which the Manchester man put a mere 10% of his power into, Hall had a grimace on his face as ‘TNT’ upped the ante.

“That has brought everything up five inches,” Hall said after he was struck with Fury’s full force.

Fury replied: “Someone grab him a bucket real quick.”

The 35-year-old, who has had one professional boxing fight, losing to arch-rival Hafthor Bjornsson by unanimous decision last March, was impressed by the former Love Island star’s power, adding: “Fair play man, there’s some power in that, Jesus!”

The pair swapped roles afterwards with Hall unloading his right hand on Fury’s arm rather than his body, although the end result saw him in similar pain.

“That’s gonna bruise! Oh my good lord.”

Fury has been out of the ring since settling his grudge with Jake Paul with a split decision win in Saudi Arabia in February.

The half-brother of WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury claimed he had put on nearly three stone since the bout, weighing close to 16st, having weighed in just over 13st.

Misfits Boxing promoter, Kalle Sauerland confirmed to Pro Boxing Fans last week that he had held a conversation with Tommy’s father, John Fury with a view to making a fight between Fury and KSI, who fights Joe Fournier on May 13.
