Fury vs Joshua has been announced, with Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua set to finally settle a decade-long rivalry on December 11 in Cardiff, live on Netflix. Dana White is set to be involved in the promotion.
Fury and Joshua will deliver their long-overdue blockbuster at the Principality Stadium.
The former heavyweight world champions signed contracts to fight each other in April. However, a row over the venue for the bout appeared to almost scupper the fight again.
The British heavyweight pair signed two different contracts with Joshua signing a UK fight. Meanwhile, Fury signed for it to take place in Ireland.
Saudi Arabia’s Sela, Netflix and Zuffa Boxing head, Dana White were all pushing to stage it at Madison Square Garden in New York on November 20. Fury apparently ok’d it, but Joshua’s side, particularly his promoter Eddie Hearn stood firm on a UK bout.

Saudi Arabian boxing chief Turki Alalshikh confirmed on Thursday the fight will take place in the UK.
Alalshikh posted on X: “For 15 years no one has been able to make this fight.
“Back in April, I said that any announcement would come from me. I can now confirm that Fury Vs Joshua will be coming to the UK, as I promised British boxing fans.
“The time for talking is over ……..🥊.”
Dana White still involved?
Dana White, the UFC boss, who joined the boxing space as head man at Zuffa, claimed for months he was the promoter for the fight.
Hearn claimed the contract Joshua signed prevented White’s Zuffa from being involved. However, a press release from Netflix on Thursday indicated the American will play a part in the promotion.
“HE Turki Alalshikh’s The Ring and Dana White will collaborate to promote this historic showdown that will stream live on Netflix globally to its 325+ million members at no additional cost,” the press release stated.
White said: “For more than a decade, boxing fans have been clamouring for the heavyweight showdown between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.
“Together, they bring 66 wins, 52 knockouts and multiple heavyweight world titles into the ring.
“On December 11, two of the biggest heavyweights of this generation finally collide– and the winner will take a significant place in heavyweight history.”

Fury vs Joshua saga
The announcement brings an end to a Fury vs Joshua saga which has lasted over a decade.
The heavyweight titans were close to sealing a bout on two occasions in 2021. However, the bout collapsed when an arbitrator ordered Fury to face Deontay Wilder in a trilogy.
Both men held versions of a heavyweight title when they agreed to fight in 2020. However, their clash will have no belt at stake.
The pair will come face-to-face for the first time at a press conference in London next Wednesday.
