Fury Joshua UK New York: Eddie Hearn has hit back at Tyson Fury after he accused him of blocking the Anthony Joshua deal.

Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua have signed to fight each other. However, the Fury Joshua UK New York standoff is holding up their long-awaited bout. Eddie Hearn is pushing to stage the fight in the UK.

Meanwhile, Saudi organisers and Netflix are keen to hold it at Madison Square Garden in New York in November.

That said, Hearn claims Joshua has signed to favour the UK in the Fury Joshua UK New York decision. The Matchroom Chairman has sent an addendum to Sela with changes to the deal for it to land overseas.

Fury though, pinned the blame on Hearn for the Fury Joshua UK New York row during an interview with Gareth A Davies.

“We’ll see whose ego gets in the way, and I believe it’s Eddie Hearn’s ego,” Fury said on Davies’ YouTube channel.

“I don’t care if this fight happens or it doesn’t, it’s not the be all and end all. I’m not going to lose any sleep about it.

”If it happens fantastic, if it doesn’t happen, also fantastic. If it doesn’t happen in November, I’ll fight someone else.”

Hearn fires back amid Fury Joshua UK New York row

However, Hearn has fired back at the Morecambe man, insisting the negotiations do not involve him.

Amid the Fury Joshua UK New York row, Hearn maintained that the addendum reflects requests from Joshua’s camp, not his own agenda.

“My ego?” he told reporters including Pro Boxing Fans on Tuesday.

“It’s got nothing to do with me.

“Tyson Fury has no idea about the conversations that are taking place.

“When you say about ego, what are you trying to spin when we signed the contract, that by the way indirectly he has breached on a number of occasions.

“We’ve let everything slide to make this fight and now we’re trying to get blamed by him for having to sign a new contract that doesn’t represent everything we agreed in the first contract.

“AJ wants the fight in the UK. Everything that’s in that addendum has come from Anthony Joshua, confirmation from that addendum.”

With Sela yet to confirm a location, the Fury Joshua UK New York decision remains unsettled. Hearn’s comments suggest the standoff is far from over.
