Fundora vs Hadribeaj results: Sebastian Fundora made a dominant defence of his WBC super welterweight title in Las Vegas, as he forced a final-round knockout against the brave Ermal Hadribeaj at Cosmopolitan Hotel. Find out how the Fundora knockout materialised.

Fundora was last out in March, halting Keith Thurman in six rounds. Hadribeaj arrived unbeaten, outscoring Bakary Samake in Germany in May.

The Fundora knockout over Hadribeaj came right on the bell. Referee Thomas Taylor waved the fight off, despite the Albanian getting up before the end of the 10 count.

The challenger did start off well, jabbing well to the chest of the extremely tall champion, as he shaded the opening session.

A left hand from Fundora wobbled the Hadribeaj in the second, and with the visitor wrestling in round three, referee Thomas Taylor docked a point in what was a scrappy session.

Fundora knockout

Hadribeaj was clearly feeling the pace, fighting with his mouth open. While, Fundora was beginning to pull away as he caused significant damage to the face of his opponent.

Hadribeaj was bloodied, and breathing very heavily. It was unclear whether he would make it through the championship rounds, but he bravely battled on.

Body shots were clear damage before Hadribeaj was docked another point in the penultimate frame for excessive holding.

That conclusion came right at the end of the bout. Fundora bullied Hadribeaj around the right, and a big let hand had Hadribeaj flat on his back. Despite being exhausted, he battled back to his feet, but the referee had seen enough.

Fundora will target the winner of the likely unification between Jaron Ennis and Josh Kelly for the undisputed super welterweight championship.
