Filip Hrgovic and Moses Itauma took to the scales just over an hour ago.
Hrgovic recorded a surprising drop in weight, while Itauma weighed in as the bigger man.
Just over 24 hours out from their IBF world title fight, tensions are beginning to rise and eventually spilled over after the pair weighed in.
‘El Animal’ will step into the ring as a major underdog despite his vast amateur and professional experience.
Itauma fights for a world title after just 31 rounds as a professional, as he looks to become Britain’s youngest heavyweight world champion in history.

Moses Itauma vs Filip Hrgovic weigh-in results:
Itauma: 241.7 lbs
Hrgovic: 236.2 lbs
‼️ ITAUMA VS HRGOVIC WEIGH IN RESULTS ⚖️
🇬🇧 Moses Itauma: 241.7 lbs
🇭🇷 Filip Hrgovic: 236.2 lbs#itaumahrgovic— Pro Boxing Fans (@ProBoxingFans) August 28, 2026
The Croatian’s weight is likely to attract the most interest, as he has made a major change in preparation for this fight.
He returns to the ring three months after his victory over Dave Allen and has shed more than 12 lbs.

He is likely attempting to negate some of Itauma’s physical advantages. Many have run with the narrative that Itauma’s speed will be the key differentiator in the bout, so dropping weight should make Hrgovic a more mobile competitor.
Hrgovic’s last three weights:
Hrgovic vs Dave Allen: 248.4 lbs
Hrgovic vs David Adeleye: 241.9 lbs
Hrgovic vs Joe Joyce: 250.6 lbs

Itauma weighed in just half a pound lighter than he did last time out against Jermaine Franklin.
He impressed against the ‘989 Assassin’, securing a fifth-round stoppage after dropping the American in the first and third rounds.
Across the three fights leading into tomorrow night, Itauma has gradually dropped weight as he looks to capitalise on his natural athleticism.
Itauma’s last three weights:
Itauma vs Jermaine Franklin: 242.1 lbs
Itauma vs Dillian Whyte: 245.5 lbs
Itauma vs Mike Balogun: 254 lbs
