Anthony Joshua is stripping things down as he prepares for his comeback against Kristian Prenga later this month.

Joshua returns to action against unbeaten Albanian, Prenga on July 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, live on DAZN pay-per-view.

The two-time heavyweight world champion has once again linked up with former rival, Oleksandr Usyk in Valencia.

The 36-year-old is trained by Iegor Golub, who is part of the Ukrainian’s set-up and helped guide him to victory over Jake Paul in December.

And despite being worth a reported £240m, Joshua has abandoned any luxuries in his Spain training camp and is instead living in basic conditions, as he gears up to face Prenga.

“I’ve got a single bed,” he said to DAZN.

“I’m limiting myself to a degree.

“It was there and I thought why do I need to change it? I’m in training camp.

“Why do I need to get out of here and go to Dubai or go on holiday to have a king size bed?

“I should have it in my training camp.”

The Watford man fights for the first time since being involved in a horror car crash in Nigeria in December, which took the lives of two of his close friends and left him with minor injuries.

The crash came just 10 days after his sixth round stoppage of Paul.

‘AJ’ has signed to face long-time rival Tyson Fury, who fights the day before him against Mariusz Wach in Thailand.

Joshua insists he’s looking to put on a destructive performance against Prenga, who has won 20 of his 21 bouts by knockout.

“I want to hurt Prenga,” he added.

“Nothing to do with him, it’s just me.

“I believe in myself and I know I can do it and I want to prove to myself that I’m a serious wrecking machine.

“I’ve got dynamite in both hands and I want to punch with bad intentions.”
