Kendall Holt: Tim Coleman isn’t on my level, I’m coming to knock him out

This Friday on ESPN “Friday Night Fights,” welterweights Kendall Holt (27-5, 15 KOs) of Paterson, New Jersey and Baltimore, Maryland’s Tim Coleman (19-2-1, 5 KOs), collide in the 10-round main event at the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Cabazon, Calif.  Both fighters are looking to get back in the win column and promise to leave everything in the ring.

Offered Holt, “I always shine on ESPN and this Friday will be no different.  Tim Coleman is a good fighter but he’s not on my level.  I’ve had a tremendous training camp and the addition of Roy Jones Jr. to my corner is only going to make my game better.  I’m coming out to California to make a statement, get the knockout, and make another run for a world title.”

Coleman has other plans. “I come to fight every time I step in the ring,” he said. “Holt says I’m not on his level, but he’ll be in for a big surprise when he gets in the ring with me.  I know what it takes to win.  I’m going to show everyone watching on ESPN why I belong with the best.  Tune in this Friday because it’s not going to be a boring fight. I can guarantee that!”

Said Promoter Gary Shaw, “I’m anticipating an explosive fight between these two warriors.  There is a lot on the line for each fighter, and I know they’re going to put on a great show.  This whole card is stacked with great young talent.”

Undefeated featherweight prospects Abraham Lopez (16-0, 12 KOs), of La Puente, Calif., and Gabriel Tolmajyan (12-1-1, 3 KOs) of Glendale, Calif., clash in the eight-round co-feature.
