Sylvester & Oral All Set for Title Bout this Weekend

Sylvester Will Pass his “Oral Exam”:

IBF Middleweight Champion Sebastian Sylvester (33-3 16 KOs) and Mahir Oral (28-2, 11 KOs) participated in a public work-out in Rostock, Germany today. The Hurricane makes a third defence of his title on Saturday night. “After training for 14 weeks, I am more than ready for Oral,” said Sylvester. “I know that this will not be an easy fight, so I am prepared for 12 hard rounds. I will pass the Oral test and I will defend my title.”

Oral, who was stopped by then-IBF champ King Arthur back in June 2009, said he has learned from his first world title fight. “I am highly motivated and I am keen to win the title,” he said. “This is my second chance to become world champion and I will make the most of it.”

The winner of the Sebastian vs. Oral IBF middleweight title fight will then be set up to face the winner of the bout, also this weekend, between Daniel Geale and Roman Karmazin. Karmazin fought Sebastian to a draw in a bout earlier this year, although many observers felt that Karmazin deserved the nod.
