Tim Tszyu is intent of giving Errol Spence Jr “flashbacks” of his brutal loss to Terence Crawford.
Spence will fight for the first time in almost three years since a ninth round stoppage defeat to Crawford, when he faces Tszyu at the Afterpay Arena in Sydney, Australia on July 26.
‘The Truth’ was down three times in a damaging first professional defeat, losing his unified welterweight titles in a bid for the undisputed crown.
Tszyu has home advantage heading into their showdown which will take place at 158 pounds and has vowed to remind his rival of his last outing in the ring.
“He’s underestimating me,” the 31-year-old told Fight Hub TV.

“He just thinks, ‘this guy’s going to be a walk in the park. I’m going to smash him. He’s never fought anyone of my level.’
“When I get in the ring I want to shock him.
“I want to make him think, this isn’t a small Danny Garcia I’m fighting against.

“This is a pure 154 pounder. They can hit, they can put on a pace.
“I want him to feel that.
“It’s giving him a little flashback and nightmare of his recent performance.”

The former super welterweight world champion has won two in a row since a seventh round retirement defeat to Sebastian Fundora last July.
‘Phoenix’ suffered a second straight defeat to now-WBC 154 pound champion, Sebastian Fundora after suffering a split decision loss to the American 16 months prior.
Tszyu insists he is looking to test Spence’s desire and plans to make him quit.

“Ideally Errol Spence questions himself from the get-go,” he added.
“And then taps out.
“Of course [I’m looking for him to quit].”

Spence linked-up with trainer Ronnie Shields after parting ways with long-time coach, Derrick James.
Despite the long lay-off, the 36-year-old insists he still feels sharp.
“This was the right time to come back and against the right opponent.
“My body feels good, so I said why not?
“My motivation to come back is about myself and my personal goals.”
