Andre Ward is back, finally. He returns to the ring and to HBO Boxing when he takes on Sullivan Barrera. Barrera is unbeaten himself, and while he hasn’t faced nearly the competition that Ward has, he doesn’t know how to lose as a professional and will be looking to test to see if Ward is at his best.

After this, the rumored fight is Sergey Kovalev vs. Andre Ward. Kovalev did his part by taking care of Jean Pascal in a rematch, and now Ward has to do his part as well. Of course, even though many are expecting this to be a pushover affair for Ward, you can never look past an opponent – especially not an unbeaten one who’s looking to upset your plans as you’re coming off extended, lengthy delays.
