The finalists from the Super Six Tournament, Andre Ward and Carl Froch, got together for a discussion with Jim Gray called Staredown. It’s the same concept as Faceoff on HBO, although you downgrade from Max Kellerman to Gray. In any event, fans watching Bute vs. Johnson on Saturday night got a preview of this special, and you can find the video preview of the Ward vs. Froch staredown interview right here as well.
It actually looks pretty interesting, with the two getting heated with one another. Ward goes on a rant talking about how Froch doesn’t like when he’s not in control, and he’s not in control in this interview, and he’s not going to be in control in the ring when the two of them square off next month. Definitely a lot of quotable material in there, and there’s surely more to come. Should be a good special to watch before the Super Six Finals (Finally) take place.
